Ashlea Bechaz is a Melbourne based multidisciplinary artist who specialises in original illustration and handmade pieces across a range of thoughtfully designed products.
Ashlea's distinct style is instantly recognisable with her illustrations being a stylised take on ancient worlds and deities of her own creation, including bursts of colour and rich warm tones.
Ashlea’s unique world of illustration was built from a love of her favourite video games and books, inspired by those with folky and fantastical themes.
Inspiring feelings of curiosity and wonder, Ashlea has created a world where the audience feels comforted by imposing ancient figures protecting vast, colourful landscapes and villages, all whilst also capturing the smallest of details within her works that serve to delight when discovered.
Each product is created using Ashlea’s original printed artworks that are created using water based paints.
